George and I became friends through a love of basketball because of it's competition, rivalry, team work, and lasting friendships. We both also saw it as a means to stay in shape and get that natural adrenalin rush . We met at one of the open gym nights in Tulare or Visalia. Later he would join us when I opened the gym in Tulare early Sunday mornings before church to play and practice. George also joined us on several teams in Tulare & Visalia on mens league teams.
