Not sure what to say?

George Karras (and his brother, Nick) had a real, positive and lasting impact on my life for which I will always be grateful. I was a short-order cook at Karras Restaurant while in high school and have many wonderful memories of working with the Karras brothers and learning from their experience. My condolences to the Karras family.

Our deepest sympathies to Terry, Lynn and family. Your Dad and family were so welcoming to me when I came to UWSP back in 1969. May he rest on eternal peace and God give you comfort. Blessings Lwaya, Claire Schneck Letourneaux

I am sending prayers for the Karras Family. I did not know George personally, but do remember the warm welcome at the restaurant. It was a special place to go when I was young.

May God receive you joyfully, George. You have served others throughout your life, and have been a role model for others. My sincerest condolences to the family....

Many fond memories of time spent with
George and Teri over many years. Our
condolences to Teri and the family.

I only knew George for a short time... but he will be forever in my mind... such a sweet, kind, and loving person. Thanks for making the world a better place George!

So sorry to read about George. I'm sure he is making all kind of good meals in Heaven. Wish I was there to hug you. Love Judi, Shopko Pharmacy.

Teppie, your dad was instrumental in my life. Because of him I am hooked on cheese saganaki, gyros, and baklava. Wonderful man, wonderful life. Well done George.

So many fun, wonderful memories of food fair days and after a night of "working" at Xavier, we'd all spend several hours at Karras' restaurant. Lots of memorable times with a terrific, generous guy. My sympathy to Teri and the family.
