George Liddle

George was always there for his own boys and me. If I needed any fatherly advice he was willing to take the time to help me any time I asked. That will always mean more than words can express.

A good man will be missed - a great man will be seen again. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Liddle family.

Although George and Dot moved away from Camp Widjiwagan several years ago, their fingerprints will forever be here. Their generosity and friendship to the YMCA is unsurpassed, and the STORIES that George has told us about growing up here will be passed down for generations at camp. They have left a legacy here and this is a great loss for the Una community. We pray that the Y and the camp can continue to serve youth and families in this community, standing on the shoulders and building on...

A real man, a real leader of young men, and a real christian. I remember all the fun and a real feel of an old fashion community at URC and the entire Una area. George Liddle was a big part of that feeling and was a part of my life I'll never forget.

We have many fun family memories growing up playing baseball and softball at UNA recreation center. What a legacy he is leaving through all the lives he has touched. Jenny Watson

The Liddle famliy exemplifies Christian influence in an enormous way. They are giving, selfless, loving individuals, who have made this world a better place. No one could be a better influence than George Liddle. What a giant of a man....with incredible sons, who walk in his path...and live daily a Christ-like life. They are all positive examples through the guidance of George, who will be very missed.
