Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry for your loss. George married my husband and I 12 years ago on December 9th, 2000. He brough such meaning and understanding in his sermons. We will always remember him so fondly. All the best to you, Lesley (Biggs) and Jack McGrath - Overland Park, KS.

Pam & Moore Family,

We join with so many people who credit George for making a difference in our lives. George has shepherded us through so many different seasons of our lives. He has preached the Word in season and out of season. He has "comforted the afflicted and afflicted the comfortable" as they say. He has shared his journey of cancer with all of us, giving us insight into the challenges of treatment, recovery, and facing death. In everything, he has given witness to Jesus, his...

The memorial service was so beautiful, George planning the service made it that even more beautiful. His focus taken off himself and onto God is exactly like George, unselfish and giving and not about him but giving the glory to God. We know where George is and we know that he is dancing with Jesus. The hard part is learning to live without him and moving on and trying to fill the void his leaving has left behind. We can only trust that God...

Pam & children: Our sympathy to you as you mourn the end of George's journey on earth. We pray that you will sense the Comforter as you travel the rest of your journey. George challenged us with his sermons and life style. He ran the race and he is rejoicing in the winners circle.

I am another of those "breakfast club" kids from Lawrence Central High School. I remember meeting George by the pool at the school where I realized I only had to ask Jesus once to come into my life. I babysat Josh and Zach when they were really little, and pet sat his dog "Ghandi Moore the Labrador." Later I worked as a volunteer leader. I see a couple names here I know. (I have a picture of you, Jim Solenberg) My heart is so sad but rejoicing at the thought of George and Jesus sitting...

Pam, My prayerful sympathy!! I feel honored to have known George and heard some of his beautiful sermons!! I always chereish the one on the Sea of Galilee! Thank you for sharing George with all ofus and thank you for all George has done for my niece Jana. Blessings and Love, Sr. Carolyn Thirtle

Very sad to hear of George's passing. Before moving to Kansas City a number of years ago, my family was so much better for having participated in activities at West Hills. George had a tremendous impact on me personally and I will always be thankful for having known him. Prayers for Pam and the family and for all of the West Hills family. Tom and Sue Moore

We are so sorry to learn of George's passing. May you find peace in the end of his suffering and the beginning of his new life with our savior. Every blessing.

I am a Christian because of you and your work with Young Life, Indianapolis. You were there for me when my husband died in 2010. All those years and you were still there. I am a better person because of you. I love you and am grateful. This place was a better place with you here.
