My sympathy to the family of Dr. Porter. I remember his funny stories and jokes when he worked with us at the corner of M and Olive. But most of all, I will never forget that he came to my home when my husband died and sat and talked with me for a long time. I will always remember him as my friend.

To the Porter family I am so sorry to hear that Dr. Porter has passed on. With his dedication to his work, patients, family and friends he was always a fine gentleman and he will have no problem in taking his place among the Saints and Angles. Many years ago back in 1965 I had just begun high school and was injured by a soccer ball that another player had kicked and I blocked the ball which resulted in the ball hitting me in the right eye causing a massive eye contusion.
