Not sure what to say?

The mid-to-late 1970s is a long time ago now, but the photograph in The Times took me instantly back to the Carr-Gomm office at 36 Gomm Road, where George and I were briefly colleagues. I recall only finding him immensely likeable. I wish I'd known about STONE TROUGH in its Camberwell phase; it would have been a welcome opportunity to re-meet. May he rest in peace.

George was a true gent, a gentle, kind man. George was a regular customer, at age UK York, we will miss him so much. God bless George, fly high. Jane and lynda, age UK York x

I felt that George was a true aesthete, as well as being a sensitive and kind man. When Andrew and I were in need, he lent us Cleaver Square to live in, so that we could all live together as a family, in London.

Taciturn, erudite, but always charming, pleasant and very welcoming.
It was a great shock to read of his sudden and unexpected death.Although not really knowing him at all , I feel that I have lost a close friend.
