George Reichert passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2017. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend, and will be missed by all. He was born in St. Louis, MO. on October 24, 1918, to George and Emma Reichert.
He proudly served his country during World War II in the South Pacific as a pilot in the United States Army Air Corps. After the war he and his wife Betty moved to Fresno, CA, where they raised their family. George spent the last 20 plus years of his career involved in developing and managing the senior living facilities of Masten Towers, Glenn Agnes, and Delno Terrace.
He was preceded in death by his son, George Edward; first wife Betty; and second wife Glenda.
He is survived by his three daughters and their husbands, Jo and Don Owen, Sue and Ray McMahon, and Emmy and Nick Speir; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Clovis, CA, on Monday, January 8, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
