Not sure what to say?

Hello Rose and Family: Only today, did I get the news of Georges passing... only wish I knew earlier as it would have been my pleasure to help celebrate his life with you and your family last Sunday... it is hard to believe that it is nearly 60 years ago when George, your Brother Sam, myself and two others joined Sun Life together... guess, I'm the last one still in the business... at least until the end of May... I'm not renewing my licence again... we have all been very blessed in this...

George, You were my favourite patient and almost friend. Despite the many health challenges you had to deal with over these past few years, you were always upbeat, kind, personable and smartly dressed. The world has lost another extraordinary gentleman. I am sorry that I didn't have the opportunity to say goodbye in person.

I was deeply saddened to read of George's passing.

A long time friend of my late husband, Al, George's regular phone calls and coffee dates meant a lot to both of us.

Such a positive and inspirational gentleman, he will be greatly missed.

My sincerest condolences to his beloved Rose and family at this difficult time.

My sincere condolences. May our heavenly Father, the God of all comfort sustain you at this time of such great loss 2Thessalonians 2:16, 17.

A life well lived. George was a great guy and will be missed. He was always positive and cheerful.

George Schroeder was my boss at Montreal Life
forty years ago. He was the best boss EVER!
It was such a pleasure working with him!
He had a way of making people feel special.
He had a very kind heart. George loved his family and was so proud of them all, sharing stories of them. He loved his Baptist Church.
I remember how he took pride in his appearance, always wearing stylish suits!
And I recall his love of cars!
Little did we know that my Office...

Our heartfelt condolences in the loss of such a genuine, upbeat, and inspiring man. Even though weak and tired, he smiled and remained positive. A real blessing, a treasure who will never be forgotten.

We remember George and Rose from many years ago when Janie was involved with Young Life in Victoria. Special people and a very special family! George always had a smile on his face and a deep peace in his heart-no doubt from his belief in God!

The world has lost one of the most special, kind, thoughtful people I have ever known. Class personified! A man that loved the Lord and was the happiest when he was sharing that love with others. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers to Rose and family.
