Not sure what to say?

We are sorry to just hear of George's passing. He was so lively and energetic we thought he would get a letter from the Prime Minister congratulating him on his 100th Birthday!
George and his family were good friends since 1956 in Dawson Creek and there were many get-togethers on weekends and special occasions. I remember hunting with him and working with him at the Coca Cola plant as a summer job, in which he was instrumental in my application.
A good and kind man, always helpful...

I met him personally as he did his last travel to Europe to visit relatives. It was quite impressive to see that a man of his age at that time is doing such big journey alone. From talking with him I got the impression that he missed her wife (aunt Martina) very much and that his family was very important to him. He was also very interested to keep in touch with relatives. So he initiated that the generation of his children get in touch with their cousins in Germany and Austria.
I am...

"A very special man! We miss you too, George! And we are so glad about your contact with your sister Erika until her death in Sept. 2015!"
Petra & Heike (Erika's daughters from Germany with family)

My condolances to you all.

I enjoyed my phone calls and visits with George. He will be missed.

Dad, I am so sorry that you left us so soon. We had the blessing and privilege of being with you almost every day. We loved your energy, humour and daily political commentary. We enjoyed your wisdom, taking you to the cabin where we had morning chats over coffee and evenings spent losing to you at board games. We will always have you with us in our hearts but will miss your presence every day. Thank you for trusting us and your gift of the time you spent with us. Rest in eternal love...

George visited us when he was in Germany. We all liked him from the first moment. Especially our kids had a lot of fun and many times they remember with a smile in their face. We are all very glad to had the chance to meet him. RIP George. Marion & Martin Fischer with Julia & Florian

In memory of a person we often remember. Each encounter with him was very special and enriched us. The time with him on the Pelican Lake remains in us forever. There was no fish but we laughed a lot. A long life found a peaceful end. We will never forget you UDO & BIRGIT
