Dear Skoney Family,
A good friend of Bernie's from the VFW Thursday afternoon "session" called us with the sad news that Bernie has gone to report to the commander of us all. Rest in peace old friend. You will be missed.

God looked around the garden and saw an empty space.He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.God's garden must be beautiful for he only takes the best.He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb.So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered "Peace be thine."It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone For part of us went with you, the day God called you home

For the family and friends of George,

Our heavenly Father, we deen this a fitting time to pay our respects. Let us remember Bernie as a good soldier, who fought a good fight in a just cause. Tears or words of sympathy cannot bring back the music of voices stilled or the strength of gentle hands. May you know that Bernie is at endless peace.
