What fond memories I have of George and the rest of the Eden Prairie City Council who welcomed me as a new Pastor at St. Andrew Lutheran Church seeking a Conditional Use Permit to construct our first Church Building...and then a second! A dispute between Council Members arose about who would have the opportunity to make the motion! George made me feel so welcomed and encouraged!
35 years have passed and so much leadership that was expended back then makes so...

Our very deepest sympathy to Jeanne and her family. George was a wonderful person and a stalwart Board Member for our Indigo Run Community.

My sympathy and condolences to George Tangen's family over his loss. He was a good friend and an excellent physician. I saw many patients for him and his father, so I was well aware of the high quality of care their patients received. He was a great physician and person and our society will miss him. Donn G. Great neighbor on Hobonny at Hilton Head. We shared the MN connection, and wonderful fellowship in the Tangen home. My Don, gone in 2009, had great regard for George, and loved the warm and wonderful Jeanne, as did I. Condolences.
