Gerald Johnson Obituary

Johnson, Gerald L. 74, of Lake Villa passed away February 21, 2013. He was born on January 25, 1939 in Chicago. Gerald was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church; he belonged to the American Legion, and Fleet Reserve Association. Survived by his wife, Connie R. Johnson; children, Lisa (Glen) Polnow, Kurt Johnson, Josel (Kathleen) Romay, Stephannie Crane, and Steve (Rhonda) Bohr, Jr.; grandchildren, Kelli, Anna, Joseph, Morgan, Courtney, Jonathan, Nicholas, Kayli, and Gage; brother, Patrick (Rose) O'Krongley, Jr.; great-grandson, Eli Johnson. Gerald was proceded in death by his first wife, MaryAnn Johnson; brothers, Butch Johnson, James Johnson, and Kenneth O'Krongle. Visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 4-8pm at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee, IL and Monday, February 25, 2013 from 9-10am at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 624 Douglas Ave. Waukegan, IL with a funeral mass following at 10am. Burial will be private.

please know how terribly sorry we are for you loss. Jerry was just an absolutely outstanding man. He always had a special place in our hearts for his quiet understanding and his cheerful demeanor, even during times of sadness. He will be greatly missed.
