Mr. Lichtenstein was one of the great teachers who came to teach at West Kinney Jr. High when it was opened in 1957. He was an educator who truly cared about his students education. He made sure that his students were knowledgeable of the components of Social Studies (history, geography, economics, civics & government, and society).

I have great memories of my 7/8 th grade homeroom / social studies teacher. My educational experience is colored with what I learned at West Kinney Jr. High. He was one of the new group of young teachers hired to accommodate the 1950's experiment to accommodate the transition to high school.

Great memories of my 7th and 8th grade homeroom/history teacher at West Kinney Junior High from 1959 - 1961. He was a member of a dedicated bunch of "real teachers" who engaged us, as well as our parents in regard to assisting with development of our academic potentials.
