Mr Monroe was a true gentleman , very cordial , very kind to all , he was like the Mr Baxter of our neighborhood at the lake . I remember him and his wife going for daily walks down to the lake front in the early evening always dressed sharp and looking good . He raised a wonderful family...

My very first job, fresh out of high school, was the Oneida Dispatch, in 1975. I remember Mr. Munroe as a kind, well dressed, cordial man. Always very friendly. Great memories are flooding my mind right now. May his memory also be a blessing to his family. RIP Mr. Munroe.
