Not sure what to say?

Gerri knew how to add "spice" to life! She was the treasured matriarch of our Mallard Lake family and we admired her constant, upbeat attitude. Gerri's chocolate sheet cake was the hit of our annual lake picnic and Ted especially looked forward to it's arrival each year.

Gerri "hated" orange, but wore it to please "the orange man, Wally". The pair taught us much about being there for each other. We will miss her accidental "butt calls"...

Gerri was one of the sweetest people on earth. She was always doing for others. I know she is up in heaven with her beloved Wally.
They were quite the pair!!! I always enjoyed hearing their tales of the cottage in Spooner.

My sympathies to her family.

Gerry was one of the best friends anyone could have. And she loved her family so much! A great cook, loved music and could sew anything on earth. We loved spending time with her! Sending deepest sympathies to the family. We feel so lucky to have spent time with her. I still have letters she sent from the lake and a scarf and hat she knitted I will cherish forever. We will miss her. Sheila and Juve Silva

My deep sympathy to Gerry's family. I was lucky to have worked with Gerry for many years in Bensenville. I'll always remember her spirit, kindness and amazing culinary skills. I'd like to think she and Wally are now happily reunited.

I will miss Gerri and her love for life! She never wanted to sit still...I would call her the energizer bunny!! Gerri was kind, generous and very thoughtful. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her!
Love you Gerri...hope heaven has a good hairdresser for you!! My love and sympathies to all of the Kooken Family!
