Geraldine was born on January 9, 1930 and passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019. She attended school at Booneville and completed high school at Pisgah High School later she obtained her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Northeast Mississippi Community College on May 13, 1994 and she taught head start for 35 years. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Pisgah Methodist Church 337 County Road 8301 Rienzi, Mississippi 38865 Condolences may be left at www.mcmillanfuneralhome.com FAMILY She is survived by her children, Ronnie Sweeney (Wanda), Donnie Sweeney (Linda), Sharon Windham (Ted) and Kevin Sweeney (Joyce) all of Booneville; her grandchildren, Cammie Caver (Jim) of Booneville, Courtney Wilson of Booneville, Andrew Sweeney (Ginger) of Tupelo, Brendi Sparks (Stan) of Water Valley, Bronzi Harris of Booneville, Kirk Windham of Booneville and David Windham (Christina) of Booneville; great grandchildren, Jordyn, Mollory, Kate, Joseph, Grace, Stanton, Shannon, Layken, Arianna, Joyner, Maggie, Briar, Bryson, Jada, Eva Brooke, Loden and Malone.

There are more words in my heart than I could possibly ever speak about my precious aunt Geraldine. She was my best friend, a second mother to me, a trusted confidant, an inspiration to me for my whole life. For about the past 17 years or more we talked every night, sometimes in the day also. We supported each other in our widowhood, health issues, as most of all in our love of Jesus. I have a great void in my heart since her passing. God bless her children Ronnie, Donnie, Sharon, and Kevin.

Geraldine was a beautiful soul and a gift to all that knew her. I was blessed to have her in my life as a precious aunt. I am so happy I got to visit her last October. I will miss her amazing wit, laugh, intelligence and personality. My sincere condolences to Ronnie, Donnie, Sharon, Kevin, and all of their families! Rest In Peace aunt Geraldine!
