Gerard J. Landry, 81, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2019. Son of Philias and Laurencia Landry, Jerry, as known to family and friends, leaves his children, Michael of Springfield, Gary and wife Sonia’ of Indian Orchard, and daughter Pamela and husband Michael Sanserveri of North Carolina, along with the love of his life Christina Olejarz. He also leaves two sisters, Jean Reidy of West Springfield and Connie Pajak of Florida, four grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and his extended family the O’Donnell’s of Hampden and Olejarz of Palmer. Jerry was an avid antique collector of cars, especially Buicks, winning many awards. He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, Buick Club, Chevy Club, Ford Club and carried the title of Senior Master Judge of AACA Club of America. Jerry was a successful business man and owned his own painting and decorating business and when not working enjoyed the RV life traveling on many adventures with Christina. Funeral services will be private at the request of his family. Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services in Indian Orchard is in charge of arrangements. My condolences go out to the Landry family. I may have never gotten the chance to meet him but heard stories about him and his beloved cars from my mother. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
