Not sure what to say?

You are no longer with us but not forgotten! The impact you made was great and every lecture I give I remind the audience of your impact and contributions. You were a great friend and we miss you dearly.

The Kraemers

I'll never forget the intensity with which you played the game. We all respected you and wished you great success. Pound for pound, the strongest man I've ever known. You'll always remain in my thoughts.

Brother oh Brother you were my HERO ! You will be sorely missed by many. No words can describe what an influence you had on me and so many others ! Your quiet, pleasant, strong demeanor was present always. Your passion for your athletes and other interests was unmatchable. You were the STRONGEST MAN I will ever know ! If love, prayers and good wishes could have healed you, you would still be a healthy man among us. Love you man and we'll see you on the other side.

Shocked to hear of the loss of a great old Orange teammate. One of the most intense men I ever knew. We all loved and respected the heck out him. May God Bless all and rest in peace my old friend.

I have been blessed to have 124 Masters degree students during my tenure at UCONN from 1980-2002 and Jerry was one of my first and one of my best. A top notch and serious student who was very focused on his journey to become one of the finest Strength and Training Coaches in the country, he achieved that goal. It was sad to hear of his long struggle with his illness when he should have been enjoying the fruits of all his hard work and the family he dearly loved. My heart and soul goes out to...

Diane, I am so sorry about your loss, may you find your memories bring help ease the pain. Thinking of you and your family at this difficult time.

Carol- I am so sorry to hear about your brother. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I will always have fond memories of your family in Eden,NY.

My most heartfelt condolences to you all during this most difficult time. May it bring you comfort to know that there are such very fond memories I have of watching Jerry play football in high school;and from following him excel in college as well. He was a wonderful guy back then and I know this did not change. He always remembered his old friends here as well. May you draw from his strength throughout this illness, and find comfort in your memories.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Bill and Beth Carroll
