Gerline was the anchor at ASCS Office. She helped many high school and college students with summer employment with ASCS. My mother, Jane Goodwin, retired from the ASCS Office working with Gerline for 35 years. I will cherish the memories of Gerline and the office family parties, picnics, water skiing at the lake, and fishing in the Patton pond on their farm. The Rutherford County Committee and staff of the Rutherford County Farm Service Agency remember Mrs. Patton fondly. She worked for this agency for 45 years and was a real asset to the agricultural community. She was loved and respected by everyone. We send our condolences to all of her family members. Eyvonne L.
