Not sure what to say?

It is with great sadness that I learned of Gerrys passing. I will never forget his kindness and patience when I was learning to shoot clays. My thoughts and prayers are with you Therese and all of Gerry's family. I cherish the memories of the wonderful days I spent at Salmon Creek. I will never forget him....He was a very special and amazing man.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories of Dick through my husband. I know Bill greeted him at the gates of heaven. He was a great person.

God Bless you and your family,

Dear Mrs. Shook and family.... Words cannot always express the heartaches you have at this time. BUT words of comfort certainly help to be able to know you have friends and family who will help.
I remember, back in the days.. the 70's..time zone.. there were various events in my life, and Dpty/Detcv. Shook assisted me on. (not getting into the details)...
He was the most caring man, whose job was so important to him, his passion for the care for others was awesome, his conduct to...

My best to you, Therese. Gerry was my idol and a very dear friend. He taught me a lot on shooting clays. He will be dearly missed.

So sorry to hear this news, Therese, and God bless you for the joy you brought to his life and final days! Rest in peace, Uncle Dick, and give Mom, Grandma & Grandpa a big hug for me! We'll see you again someday!

To the family and friends of Dick. Please accept my sincere sympathy. My memories of him go back to first grade at Cayuga Lake Academy. Cherish the happy memories as you reflect on his life. May they bring you peace and comfort now and in the days and years ahead. My best wishes are with you.

So sorry Therese. I'm glad I had the chance to sit and talk with Dick last summer about his Navy experiences, a true patriot and just an all around good guy, surely one to be missed.
