Not sure what to say?

August 18, 2012
Gishy was unique. She had great talent and could have been a great actress. She received her nickname Gishy from actress Lillian Gish. She had some rough roads and she kept going on her own. She was a good friend to me. She even came to see me at a play I was in and when she said I did ok, I felt like I did. Her words meant a lot. I know Jackie is missing you badly, Gishy. You were the best.

Mama Darling, By Day, I wear the mask of normalcy, but at night sometimes we are together in dreams, and I feel anchored and whole again. I miss you so, my special angel in life and beyond. I love you with all being, as always I have. Your loving daughter.

Mamma darling, today would have been your 9lst birthday. And I, as always, celebrate and validate your life and your strong and loving presence and impact upon my life. Forever, you will remain and live within me. Love,

I remember cousin Gishy as a warm and welcoming person with a beautiful smile. She wrote me the nicest letters and her lovely handwriting reminded me of my mother's. Gishy was always interested in my me and my family. She was a hard worker and was admired by many people. Love always, Sharon

Jackie , This a beautiful and lasting memorial to your mother. Thank you. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. When I was at your home in Lynchburg, I would see her arrive from work. She was a tall, beautiful woman that gave off an aire of sophistication in her movement and dress, with an expression of love for life. We were always greeted with her eyes lit up with interest and love. Her beautiful smile said I love you Jackie and I love to see my children doing what they love. She...

Jackie, how beautiful, love, Phyllis

Aunt Gishy and I shared many special things together. When I was a little girl, she would take me to Bay Isle Restaurant to eat shrimp. She also took me on day trips to Roanoke and Richmond and Va. Beach. When I was in college, she motivated me to achieve goals in consumerism. When I became a mother, she was always interested in Josh and sent him gifts. She always cheered me up when I was down. She always wanted to buy me pretty clothes and accessories. She had so many interests. She...

Jackie that is a beautiful memorial to your Mom--she was one of my special friends and a very beautiful person inside and out. I had many years enjoying her company. Love to you

I am so sorry for your loss, I know how close you were.
