Gertrude "Trudy"

Gertrude Helen "Trudy" Novenche was born in Syracuse, NY but loved the Spokane Valley and called it home for almost 40 years.
Trudy had been a nationally ranked trap and skeet shooter and belonged to the Spokane Gun Club with her husband Myron, and continued after his passing in 2002. She loved the outdoors and took pride in the deer, rabbits, quail and other wildlife that shared her property.
Trudy is survived by her three daughters, Terry Hagen-Dudek of Tully, NY. Sherry Westermann of Otis Orchards, WA, and Laurie Olson (Jim Olson) of Shoreline, WA. She is also survived by two grandsons, Randy Hagen of Saratoga Springs, NY, and Damian Olson of Shoreline, WA; and her brother, Eric Kuhnel, who has a large and beloved family of his own.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations would be sent to either the National Alzheimer's Association, or the Spokane Humane Society.
Trudy's life will continue in the memories of her family now and always.

I worked with Trudy for a number of years at Social Security. She was always professional, courteous, and kind and I was sorry when she retired. Condolences to her family
