Not sure what to say?

SO SORRY TO FIND OUT GIL PASSED AWAY LAST YEAR. I MET GIL AND ISABEL THRU MY DAD, LOU BOWING, WHO WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF GIL'S. WHENEVER I CAME TO FLORIDA, WE ALWAYS WENT TO VISIT GIL AND ISABEL AND THEN MARY.

I'M SURE MY DAD HAS BEEN SHOWING GIL ALL AROUND HEAVEN.

MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO MARY AND THE FAMILY.

CATHY BOWING

I am proud to have known Gil over the past 60 some years. It has been remarkable to watch his motels grow into the wonderful complex it is today. He was a pace setter on the islands and his presence will be missed. My sympathy to all of his family and blessings to Mary and Dean. Gil was a very special person.

I had both the pleasure and great opportunity to work for the Fortunes. I learned so much from them about the hospitality business and was impressed with how they ran their company. I will always remember Gil walking the property with Isabelle and they both would have such a happy and content smile on their faces. It didn't matter what position you held, they treated everyone with respect and always took the time to say hi. He was a great patriarch of a family that shared a beautiful vision....

Condolences from Twitty Family to Fortune Family. The loss of a Sr. Member like Gil is devastation to all.

Sending my deepest sympathy to the Fortune family.

Our sincere condolences to Mary and Family,
Deeply saddened by the news of Gil's passing. My relationship with the Fortunes goes back to the late 50's. Their success in the hospitality industry over the years is legendary. The past twenty plus years has provided the opportunity to meet on a monthly basis. Although 12 years my senior he was my inspiration on how to handle getting older. He was a truly remarkable man and more important the true definition of a gentleman.

Deepest Condolences to Jeff, Dean and the entire Fortune Family, your Father was a wonderful man.

Gil & Isabel were such kind and loving people. I worked for Fortune Hotels in the mid 80's - early 90's. I enjoyed their smiling faces coming into to all of us in the reservations & sales offices. TradweWinds will be the Fortune Legacy for this beach pioneer !!! Rest peaceful my friend.
