Giuseppe Luigia Salvatore

Giuseppe Salvatore 91, and Luigia DiDonato Salvatore, 88, of West Haven husband and wife passed away July 19, 2010 in the Hospital of St. Raphael. Father and Mother of Teresa Salvatore, Pasqualina (Silvio) Palmieri, Vincenza (Joseph) Piscitelli and Lorenzina (Mario) Gallifoco all of West Haven. Grandparents of Peter, Joseph and Anthony Palmieri, Larry and Joey Piscitelli, Delfina (Matthew) Delisle and Biagio Gallifoco. Giuseppe leaves his brothers, Rocco (Santina) Salvatore of Orange, Ernesto Salvatore of Italy and was predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Teresa Maria Mei Salvatore, his sisters, Emilia Frattassio and Maria Meoli and a brother Ralph Salvatore. Luigia leaves her brothers, Michele and Vittorio DiDonato both of Italy and was predeceased by her parents Lorenzo and Vincenzina DiDonato and a sister Ida DiDonato. Prior to their retirement Giuseppe worked for AMTRAK for many years and Luigia worked for the J. R. Richards Co and the Sargent Co. Their funeral processions will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven Friday morning at 9:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Lawrence Church at 10:00. Entombment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call THURSDAY from 5:00-8:00 PM.
