LANGDON, Gladys E. - Of Flint, age 93, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Genesys Convalescent Center. Funeral service will be held at 12Noon Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Evangelist Don McBride and Seventy Robert Agnew officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Community of Christ Church. Visitation 2-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Gladys was born in Mondamin, Iowa on May 9, 1913 the daughter of the late James and Pearla Phillips. Mrs. Langdon was a member of the Community of Christ Church. She was a Nurse Assistant and Home Health Aide from 1965 to 1975. Surviving are 2 daughters, Betty and husband Richard Bison of Flint, Shirley Schaschl of Grand Blanc; son, Thomas Langdon of Grand Blanc; daughter-in-law, Kathey Langdon of Swartz Creek; 5 grandchildren, Joseph (Nancy), Bison, Jeffrey Bison, Jon (Shelly) Bison, James (Cori) Bison and Jaime Langdon; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Ernest; parents, James A. and Pearla Phillips; 2 brothers, Virgil and Arlon Phillips; sister, Vida Metzer and granddaughter-in-law, Demetra Bison.
