Not sure what to say?

I've been putting off writing here for some time--I guess it's an avoidance thing because it's actually admitting that he's gone. I've known Glenn since college and had the chance to know him all his life through his marriage, birth of his two children and then his grandchildren. He loved his family so--I still remember him being almost overwhelmed by the fact that his soon-to-be wife, Melonnie, and he were going to share their lives together. Then with the birth of Justin and Kimberly his...

Melonnie, please accept my condolences on the loss of your husband. I just recently heard the sad news. I wish you the best.

I knew Glenn from the Washington Realtors, as I am a practicing Realtor and I thank him for his amazing respect for our industry, his forever crunching of numbers, his forecasts and his efforts to get an unruly industry to get some statistical/historical information--and even when it must have seemed daunting. And he did this all with grace and aplomb. I am honored to be an industry acquaintance and we miss him on many, many occasions. Rest in peace, Glenn.

As a member of the board for the Washington Center for Real Estate Research at WSU and a Realtor with the Wash Association Realtors I served on the interview team recommending Glenn for its first and only director. Glenn was extremely knowledgeable and I enjoyed many discussions we had regarding the Real Estate industry. He was a great asset to the Real Estate field in the State as well with NAR.
It was a privilege to have known Glenn and he will be missed. My best to his family.

Glenn's expertise shared through the WA Center for Real Estate was such a great benefit to the promotion of Home Ownership programs. Wayne Locke & I were very privileged to share his table at one of the last State Conferences Glenn attended.

I was privileged to listen and hear presentations by Glenn Crellin at our Washington State REALTOR meetings and Seattle King Association of REALTORS. He was dedicated to his work, he was approachable and delivered words of wisdom. He will be missed by our community. Prayers of peace and comfort are sent to his family.

I am saddened at the loss of an old friend from junior high, high school and college. Glenn and I enjoyed each other's company at school growing up Oskaloosa and we were dorm roommates our freshman year of college at Drake University. One of my fondest memories from that time was going to Lincoln, NE with Glenn to spend a weekend visiting his parents. Unfortunately, after college Glenn and I lost touch. Only within the past year did he reach out to me via email to share his health concerns...

So sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. He was a pleasure to know. Condolences to his family.

I only knew Glenn in the last four years of his life. He struck me as a gentleman, a gentle man, with flashes of wry humor and an enormous quiet courage. He loved his family, and to see him playing with his grandchildren was to understand his gift for patient teaching. He will be sorely missed.
