WATSON, Glenn Ray; of Waterford; passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 79; beloved husband of Penny; loving father of Tracy (Ralph) Sorrentino, Lisa (Donald) Henschel, and Scott (Lisa) Watson; grandfather of Nikolay, Michael, Joshua, Noah, and Austin; dear brother of the late Donald Gene (Fern) Watson and brother-in-law of Jeanie (Joe) Przygoda; preceded in death by his parents Donald and Glennis; missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.


Glenn was a Captain of the Oakland County Sheriff office for over 30 years. A graduate of the FBI National Academy. He received a Master’s in Public Administration from Madonna University. Glenn was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed playing golf, leaving behind many golfing buddies. And will be reunited with several fishing buddies.


Friends may visit at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston, Saturday November 13th from 3-8 pm. A Memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. An inurnment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s for Children.

All of us barbers enjoyed Glenn coming into Ryans Barbershop for many years.
His stories, love for his family, and kind words during my daughters battle with cancer mean so much. Glenn will truly be missed by everyone who was blessed to know him.

I have many happy memories when Jim, Glenn, Penny and I went to the FBINA retraining sessions in many areas of the country that included a cruise to Alaska. Sending my love to Penny and the family.

A good friend since the '50's.

A proud Soldier into the '60's.

A guardian of the law for thirty years.

A great husband, father and grandfather.
