My heart broke today when I learned of your passing. I would like to tell you Aunt Gloria that I loved yu and I will miss you. I think of you often but time always goes so quickly. The time one thinks they have is only fleeting. I wish I had taken a moment and gone to visit you. I would like to say thank you for being such an important part of my life. Thank you for your influence and memories that are still strong today. Once again, I would like to say thank you, I love you and I will miss you.

To the family, I just learn about the transition of Dr. Gloria Toote. You have my deepest condolences. I have the upmost respect for her life; and especially her political career. I worked and had the opportunity to become acquainted with her back in the early eighties. Dr. Toote was beautiful person and a strong advocate for black Americans.

My sincere condolences to the Toote family as I am just learning of her passing. My grandmother and great grandmother were members of the African Orthodox Church in Harlem. To her sister Francis I remember your mother Mrs Lillian Toote when I was a young child. Your mom would come to my grandma's house (Mrs Gladys Bartholomew) after church on Sundays at Good Shepherd A.O. Church.

Sincere condolences to the family of Ms. Gloria Toote from her family in the Bahamas. We were in the middle of publishing a book of our ancestors and put information of our American family in it. We are saddened by this and want to convey our sympathies to her sister Francis and other family members. Her life and achievemnets are chronicled in our book entitled, Halil Jane and Wilfred Harcourt Toote. It should soon be completed and published.

My distinct memory is when I was old enough to help my beloved departed cousin, Dr. Gloria E. A. Toote, while she attended Howard University going forward, I was only twelve years old. The chores I performed for my cousin Gloria were minor but necessary. At that time, cousin Gloria always expressed her utmost appreciation for my help.
"My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief. " " May your memories bring you comfort."
