Not sure what to say?

DEAR KATHY,
YOU AND I HAVE NEVER MET, NOT UNTIL YOU REACHED OUT THROUGH AN EMAIL I SENT GORDON LETTING ME KNOW OF HIS PASSING. I THANK YOU FOR THAT. AT THE TIME I GUESS I WAS IN SHOCK OTHER THAN TO OFFER MY CONDOLENCES.
I GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL AT FOSTORIA HIGH SCHOOL THE CLASS OF 1955. A WONDERFUL TIME IN OUR SMALL TOWN LIFE. FREE OF FEAR, AND DRUGS. I REMEMBER GORDON'S FAMILY HAVING A BUSINESS IN THE DOWNTOWN CALLED THE CHATTERBOX.
UNFORTUNETLY WE ALL GET BUSY...

KATHY, OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES GO OUT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
"GORDY" WILL BE TRULY MISSED AND WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED.

GEORGE, BRIAN, AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF "BARB."

So very sadden to hear of mr. cockrell's passing. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. So glad to have been neighbors with all of you. Many fond memories of babysitting for you, and the times Mr. Cockrell would take me out driving....I was trying to do my best, after all he was a police officer, and he would yell at me for making a complete stop at a stop sign. I can still hear him saying do you see any cars around, then move it why are you stopping...never knew if he was testing me so...

My condolences goes to the Cockrell family, I'm very sorry for your loss. May the loving God of all comfort give you peace during this time of sadness. Psalms 94:19

Sincerely

Gordon and I worked together in the Chief's
office. I enjoyed his wit and intelligence.

I've only had the honor and privlege of meeting him once, wanting to show my admiration and respect for him....and to convey how I'd do all to care and love his beautiful daughter, Jen without fail. Godspeed, Mr. Cockrell.

Jen, and the entire Cockrell family, My deepest sympathies and condolences on your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. May Gordon Rest In Peace. Mark Dieterich

Worked with Gordon in the 6th District and the Detective Bureau. He was a good guy and a knowledgeable street supervisor. Everyone liked him a lot.
