Dr. Gordon William Grundy

I worked at Aetna with Dr. Grundy and he was one of the kindest people I have ever met. He was a wonderful Medical Director and than you to him and his wife Sharon for getting my infant Grandson treatment for asthma at Connecticut Children's Hospital. He will be sorely missed by all who he knew. Rest in Peace Dr. Grundy. Barbara Schenkel

Hi Grundy's- My mom just informed me of Dr Grundy's passing just a couple of minutes ago. All I can say is that Dr Grundy was an amazing man and such an important part of my life growing up... whether it was during countless play dates on Miles Rd, Wallingford Twist tournaments with the Flames, or the fields at Hopkins. I will always remember his intelligence kindness know he will be dearly missed.

We could not have asked for a better Pediatrician than Dr. Grundy. His intelligence, wit and kind demeanor was so appreciated by my husband (also a physician), myself(an RN) and our 3 children. When I called with a question about my newborn son and he returned the call with the question "is this a good time for you to talk?", I was overwhelmed with his consideration of a new mom.

So sorry to hear of his illness and passing but know how very much his patients and their parents loved...

My both kids and I LOVED Dr Grundy.. he was the best pediatrician. Compassionate and an overall wonderful person. He passed away much too soon. May he Rest In Peace , the Johnson Family, Guilford, Ct

Dr. Grundy was my choice for a pediatrician for my first born who will be 40 next month and quite the right choice he was. Always a gentle and concerned doctor and his love for children was quite evident. My sincere condolences to his family and may he RIP.

Dr. Grundy was my son's pediatrician when he was born in 1986. He was the most caring, kind and gentle man I had the pleasure to know. I cried when he left pediatrics. Now that I have a grandson, I still have fond memories of the care Dr. Grundy gave my family. He was one in a million. May knowing how many lives he touched give you the comfort you need at this difficult time.
