Not sure what to say?

Eric and Scott, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Gordon was very inspirational in my life from age 19. He took a chance on me when starting my career and throughout the 18 years I spent at Seattle Packaging. Even now as I think about retirement I never forget how he challenged me to improve myself. I remember when he called me to share his excitement of the 2008 election. Gordon exhibited a type of compassion for his employees rarely seen by a business leader. I...

Dear Scott and Eric: I just learned with a deep sadness about Gordon's passage back in October 2017. All my sincere condolences to you and your families. Your father made the world a better place and he will always be remembered by those who got to know him. I'm lucky to have been one who knew him, even if for a short time. I am deeply touched with sorrow and very sorry for your loss. Maryam Borghey (Minbashian)

Dear Eric and Scott and families,

I am truly shocked and saddened by the news of Gordon's death. I am so truly sorry for your loss - and for all of our loss in his passing.

I met Gordon in the late 1970s - purely by chance. We became friends and I totally admired his integrity, his spirit, his intellect and his interest in the world around him and all living things. His political views, his concern for our environment, for making his business successful and the world a better...

Gordon was instrumental in my career. I worked at Boise Cascade for 18 years before coming to Seattle Pkg. in 1994. I transferred to Spokane Pkg in 1996. I had a GREAT journey with the company before retiring in January of this year. I have awesome memories of him.....he was an awesome boss. I have stories to tell....all good. I promised him on the 1st day I would be there for EVERYHING and I was....respected that man dearly and all he did for all his employees...they broke the mold...

I want to thank Gordon for his role in my career. I was a young, inexperienced kid working in sales service for Kaplan Paper and making trouble for the systems developers, but he and others at Seattle Packaging saw me in a leadership role in IT. Thank you, Gordon.
