Not sure what to say?

Gonna miss you brother, you always were a shining star, I hate to say goodbye, haven't seen you in awhile.

This news hit me pretty hard this morning. Grant and I grew apart in adulthood, as childhood friends often do, but we shared the experience of so many of life's rights of passage that his impression on my life was indelible. To the entire Matthisen family, I am so very sorry for loss.

I remember all of the great times we had with Grant when he played hockey at Service. I'm so sorry for your loss and pray for all of his family and friends.

Dearest Matthisen family it is with deep personal grief in hearing of Grant's untimely passing, regardless of the cercumstances the loss of one of our own is always personal and very painful and only the wonderful happy thoughts stay with us as we carry on in our journey

I have always considered myself a part of the Matthisen family and send my love and prayers

Condolences to all, especially Mrs. Mathisen. Grant was a special friend and comrade to me. We played hockey on many of the same teams growing up including high school, city league and at Western Washington University. I loved his laugh and his wonderful sense of humor. When I knew him, he was happy. Grant had some kind words for me when I needed them. I will never forget him. He was a good egg and andexcellent team mate

Lotsa good memories with ya Brother.
Bless you and all you leave behind.

Rest In Peace Grant. What wonderful childhood memories I have spending time with you and your family. Love, hugs and prayers to your family.
