NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Gregor Shaw Mosley, of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., passed away peacefully, after a battle with cancer, Sunday, November 16, 2025. The sun was shining as he was welcomed into God's Kingdom that morning. He was born on November 20, 1949, in Albany, N.Y., son of the late William Shaw and Valarie Patricia (Robins) Mosley, of Delmar, N.Y. He was a retired member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local 40. He served in the U.S. Army in the early 1970s.
He was the loving husband and best friend of Melissa Mary Brown-Mosley, and they recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his son, William Shaw Mosley, of Austin, Texas; and daughter, Sara Nicole Forino (Vincent), of Richmond Hill, Ga.; sister-in-law, Cynthia Susan Brown-LaFleur (William); three grandchildren, Elijah Mosley, Emma Forino and Anthony Forino; and a great-grandson, Kalden Rowan Lekmon. He was predeceased by his brother, Robin William Mosley; and survived by a brother, Kevin Scott Mosley, of Lutz, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was a long time NASCAR fan, enjoying the action at Darlington, S.C., every Labor Day weekend for many years. His later years slowed to a golf game with his friends in N.Y., before he moved to S.C. Whether in N.Y. or S.C., he always enjoyed a "destination" walk, which likely led him to an Irish Pub. Everyone enjoyed his baking skills.
A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Hwy. 90, with a visitation from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y.
