Gregory Douglas Barker, age 64, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Lawrenceburg. Gregory was born June 19, 1959 in Heidelberg, Germany to the late Louis F. Barker and Helga Frick Barker.
Gregory was a former truck driver for UPS and worked for Greenheck Corporation in Frankfort. He was a 1977 graduate of American High School in Mannheim, Germany, attended the University of Kentucky from 1980 – 1983 and was a devoted U.K. Basketball fan. Gregory loved his two dogs, Babe & Roxi, they were his “Girls” and were always by his side.
Gregory is survived by his daughter, Selina Barker of North Hollywood, CA; his brother, Christopher C. Barker and his wife Ann of Deland, FL; his sister, Daniela G. Barker Treadway and her husband Rod, of Louisville, KY; several nephews, Ryan, Shanon, Wesley, Kyle, Riley, Bradley and Alex.
Including his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by a brother, Geoffrey W. Barker.
A private memorial service will be observed for Gregory.
