Greg Hayes, age 49 of Washington, died Friday, May 18, 2012. Gregory Wilson Hayes was born July 21, 1962 in Wurzburg, Germany, the oldest of 3 children born to Harold Ray Hayes & Joann (Andrews) Hayes. He was raised in Washington and attended Washington Schools, graduating in 1980. Greg found true love and on July 10, 1981, he married Denise Kay Jeffries. They made their home in Woodward for a short time before settling back in Washington to raise their family; son, Christopher and daughter, Kayla. Greg later attended the Draughn Business School where he earned an Associate's Degree in Business. Greg started his own company, Oklahoma Playgrounds, and for the past 14 years, he and Denise have owned & operated their store in Edmond. Greg worked hard to be a good provider and he loved and cherished his family. He had an infectious smile and you could always count on him. He was a wonderful husband and father, son, brother, uncle and a good friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Greg leaves behind:
His wife, Denise Hayes, of the home;
His son, Christopher Ray Hayes of Goldsby;
His daughter, Kayla Brooke Hayes of Washington;
His parents, Harold & Joann Hayes of Washington;
His brother, Doug Hayes and wife, Marti of Washington;
His sister, Renae Green and husband, John of Washington;
His father & mother-in-law, Lewie & Charlotte Jeffries of Goldsby
3 sister-in-laws, Kim Mitchell & husband, Mark of Norman,
Robin Nipper & husband, Craig of Norman and
Peggy Smith and husband, Joe of Jones;
Greg also leaves behind, several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins, and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Goldsby Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Washington Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little in Purcell.
