Not sure what to say?

I'll never forget you.

Gunnar, We spent hundreds of hours in the simulators at NATCO together teaching as best we could, those 72's are pretty much gone but perhaps we did some good. I am honored too call you my friend we will get together some day and talk again, I'm still flying got to wear out a few more airplanes before I join you.

I used to work on his geo metro,s a bit and he would stop over for advise on repairs after an accident. I always enjoyed his honest gentle spirt. I am so sorry we lost touch over the years,
but I am glad I got to vist him at the cabin. Gunner is truely a good man and I hope we all get to see him again. I recently drove by and knew somthing was wrong when I saw the for sale sign.

Gunner, you made my life better knowing you.

YMCA Camp du Nord will be honoring Gunnar at our annual Esprit du Nord event this coming Saturday at the Town and Country Club. We have a section of our program dedicated to memorials where we have a slideshow of pictures of people from the du Nord community that we have lost in the last year.
Our thoughts have been with you.
-Camp du Nord

I met Gunnar only twice in his well-lived life. First at YMCA Camp du Nord in the mid 1960's, and once again many years later when I visited his mother Birgit in 2008. Memories of his family have been a part of my life and I'm sad to learn of his passing. Fly with Sylvia....

Keep a light on for me...but not in my eyes as I land, please?
