Not sure what to say?

My father is a great inspiration in my life. He showed his children how to be successful in many ways; working hard pays off. Most importantly getting an education was the one thing he mostly cared about. I am proud of my father and even though we hadn't spent alot of time together, we still shared alot of good memories.

Daddy, Granddaddy
God saw you getting tired
A cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you
And whispered, "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
Your tender hands at rest.
God took you home to prove to us
He only takes the best.

My sincere condolences on your lost. I have lots of fun memories of time spent with Gus and my brother Curtis taking me bowling as a teenager visiting Buffalo. He was a great guy and will always be remembererd as such.

Mamie, Greg, Sabrena, Debra; lean on the Lord and rejoice that Gus has been set free. Though no longer here physically, he will always be in Spirit.

To Greg, siblings, & family: May the Supreme Spirit hold you all in Its embrace in the passing of your beloved father!

I wish to offer my condolences to you and your family. May god bless and comfort you.

Greg, I was sad to hear of your loss. Our Prayers and Love are with you during this time.

I was sorry to hear of Gus's passing. Prayers to the family. I used to work with him at the VA many years ago, a great guy.

Donna Bentley Wooten (aunt of Kelly Beasley Russell)

This is for my friend Sabrena, in memory and honor of her father. This is for her Mother and siblings in this sad time. You came to Mommy's funeral on 20 Oct 2009; I will never forget your support then. I feel your sorrow and grief now.
