Not sure what to say?

My Aunt Gwen's generosity lives on in one of the happiest memories of my childhood. I was eight years old in 1952 when my mother, the late Dr. Yvonne L. Blackett, took her Bermudian “Rangers” (senior girl guides) to England to observe the Queen's coronation. On the way, she stopped off in New York City to allow me to spend that summer with my late father, Alphonso's Barbadian relatives, and with her older sister. Aunt Gwen lovingly provided me with a wonderful vacation which included visits...

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring you some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing someone you love in death is horrible. However, God is aware of your pain. He promises at Isaiah 61:2 that he will "comfort those who mourn." So, he will give you the strength needed to get through this sad time. I hope this gives you some encouragement. You are in my prayers.

My condolences to the Allen Family.
Gwen Marie Allen was my godmother.
I was shocked to read of her passing as I was just thinking of her recently. She was the only living godparent that I knew of as we met when I was very young when she used to visited on Morgans Road Bermuda.
I would loved to have talked with her and still can't believe that she lived to be 108!
May she rest in peace.
With Love
