Not sure what to say?

I had not had contact with Russ for many years and had decided it was time to "look him up". I was shocked when I google his name and discovered he had past away. Russ and I had first meant when he was a consultant working on a project with me in Sourthern Calif. We became close friends and stayed in touch for many years until I moved away from the West coast. Jana and family, I can not tell how upset I am and how sorry I am for your lost.

Janna and family,
John & I were truly saddened to hear of your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during the next difficult weeks.

My heart goes out to you. I knew Russ when I worked in employee benefits at Multnomah County and he owned Certifax. As a client, I always enjoyed his friendly, warm style, and his first rate customer service. We discovered we had many common links - mutual friends from OSU, kids on the track team at Lincoln, for example.
I loss contact with him when I left the County, but saw him last year at a Bologna Sister Cities Event - was good to reconnect, and discover yet one more link -...

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Rusty, he was a tremendous team mate at Oregon State and a wonderful friend. He always had a kind word for me or some joke. I will miss him as I know his family and friends will Norman (norm monroe) Monroe

Words cannot express the sadness and shock that I feel after reading about Russ. My prayers go out to Janna, Chris, Chelsea and Jennifer. I so enjoyed working with Russ at Certifax and beyond, and will always remember his special manner.. He knew the name of every employee and took the time most mornings that he was there to go around and say good morning to all of us. He always made each one of us feel special.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times you had together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I had the pleasure of working with Russ and being on some of the same rafting trips. He will be missed.

Hugs to all,

Ann
