Not sure what to say?

I met and worked with Mr. G. in my coaching days in New Jersey and New York. We shared pupils. I always looked up to him and was delighted to have met him and worked with him. Mr. G - as everyone called him - was a pleasure to know. His passing is the end of an era. He lived a great long life. RIP Mr. G. Lynne Sawicki-Fulton

Deepest sympathies to the family. I was one of Mr. G's (he allowed us to call him Mr. G) figure skating students back at the Long Island Figure Skating Club at Twin Rinks. Being Black-Hispanic, Mr. G was one of only a few coaches who would accept me as his skating student. Not only did he coach me..., but he helped my mother and I when skating was too costly. In return, he made me swear to do my best, to keep fighting...and practice my skating jumps on the ground, since I couldn't afford...

Sad to hear of Hans' passing. He was a great teaching pro and a friend. With my sympathies.

I am so glad to have had the opportunity to know Hans. I was honored to be the receiver of his infamous "hat pin" when he retired. He was an inspiration and legend. My sympathies and condolences to Nancy and family.

My deepest condolences to the family. Hans was a wonderful man and coach as were his great uncles. With sympathy . Sonia Bianchetti Garbato

For Nancy and the whole Gerschwiler Family
Hans was a gentleman through and through as were his Uncles
He was a great figure skater
Also I miss Aja Zanova who come as a trio with them
It is a passing of a different time in Skating ...I will miss them and it.

My deepest condolences to the Gerschwiler family. Mr. G has left a lasting imprint on my heart and life. He was a wonderful coach and man. His many lessons went well beyond the boards of the ice arena. With sympathy, Kim Trouse Lubba
