Harold Bailey

BAILEY, HAROLD J., age 76, of West Carrollton, OH, passed away, Monday, November 10, 2014. He was born in McKee, KY, on June 25, 1938, to the late Robert and Fairy (McQueen) Bailey. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; and a member of the Miamisburg American Legion & Moose Lodge. He retired from the former Dayton Press and then worked at W.P.A.F.B. in the Propulsion Directorate as the Facility Supervisor. He was an avid Ohio State Fan with a complete man cave. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Bailey; and a sister, Helen Landers. Harold is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cindy (Moore) Bailey; a daughter, Jennifer (Andrew) Tipple; 4 sons, Jeffrey (Kara) Bailey, David (Dianne) Pannell, Kenneth and Thomas Pannell; 5 grandchildren; his brothers, Gary and Daniel (Candy) Bailey and many close friends. The family will receive friends, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday, November 13th, at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, where the Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m., with Pastor Steve Carney. Burial will be at Heritage Hills Cemetery.
