Not sure what to say?

I only had the pleasure of knowing Hedy for a short time, but was immediately impressed by her. Her knowledge and dedication to her work, impacted by her caring personality and dry wit made her such a wonderful leader and mentor. She will be missed by all of our Delmarva Foundation Team who worked with her.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends.
Regards,
Roxanne Rodgers

I remember the first time I met Hedy. She introduced me to Dim Sum. I thought it was some special dish. I fondly remember Hedy asking Jean, "where did he come from?" That's what I liked about Hedy, straight forward as well as a great cook, and dear friend. We are going to miss her. Alan. Like others, I met Hedy at PHS and quickly realized what a hard worker she was but with a great sense of humor. She was able to juggle us (aka keep us in line), her colleagues as well as all of the...

I met Hedy soon after I joined CMS about eight years ago. We immediately clicked when we first met as co-workers and soon became close friends. I appreciated her down-to-earth, tell it like it was honesty, and as our friendship blossomed I was privileged to have her as part of my life well beyond the confines of work. Hedy was such a warm and giving person and was always there for me during both the celebratory times and the difficult times, and words alone cannot describe how much her...

I worked with Hedy at PHS and we became friends and volksmarching buddies. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by many.

I've known Hedy for a long time. We worked together at PHS and knew her socially. I extend my condolences to Norm and her family. She will be missed.

I am privileged to have known such a good person as Hedy was. When I was still at the Seattle RO, Hedy and I shared many conversations over our instant oatmeal. That is how I will always remember her, standing at my cubicle with her cup of oatmeal, laughing at the goings on in the office. No one could have fought a stronger battle than she did against the illness that finally took her from us. May she be at peace now.

I worked with Hedy for many years at the Public Health Service and remember her fondly as wonderful friend and co-worker. I extend my codolenses to her entire family at this time of loss.

My condolences to family and friends. I recall Hedy's spirit and intelligence during the years she worked with me at Region X of the US Public Health Service.

In fond memory of a wonderful person.
