Not sure what to say?

David and Betsy: I knew and respected your mother through many years of working in the Federal Building in Roanoke. My condolences to you and your families.

This is a great loss for our community. I will always remember her happy additude and her smile. Sue was one of the founders of Bent Mountain Christian Academy and a board member until her health limited her activities. My prayers go out to famiy and friends for thier loss.

David -- Ann and I just heard about your mother. Our sincere condolences to your family. Your mother was an acceptional lady who fostered the very best in everyone she met. She reminded me of my mother and how blessed we all are with our mother's presence and direction in our lives.

David: My sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

David and Betsy, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mother was an inspiration to me and my family. She taught my children in Sunday School and I know without a doubt that they learned more than she ever thought. My prayers go out to you and may God put His loving arms around you during this time. - Margaret Shepherd (Bent Mountain)

My sympathy and prayers are with all of the family.
Sue was a very special lady, and will be missed by many.
A water aerobics friend,

David and Betsy--You know what a wonderful mom you had. She would do anything for anyone. She helped many people, maybe especially teenagers. It was my honor to be among her friends. Love to all your family--Shirley Biggs Shrewsbury

I did a federal probation internship with Sue my last year at Roanoke College. She was such a warm and giving person, and I remember her speaking of David and Betsy often. I helped her make Christmas tree angels for one of her organizations one evening, and I still have two or three that I hang on my tree each year. She left a lasting impression in my heart, and I pray that you find comfort in your many wonderful memories at this very difficult time.

Your Mom was so very special, a wonderful friend and neighbor.
Sue always was ready to lend a helping hand, and her positive spirit and attitude was always present.
My prayers are with all of the Hills and Plunkett families.....God captured an angel last Thursday.
