Jean & James - I did not know Mrs. Smith, but I understand that she was a wonderful woman and if more were like her that the world would be a better place... I'm sorry for your loss and for those who loved her. My condolences...

Jean/Elaine: Your Mom was a SUPER NICE lady. I really enjoyed knowing her. I hope you all are well. My prayers and condolences for all of the great family.

I remember serving with Jean and Ed on a mission trip to Michigan...we were the cooks! Wonderful folks and we have fond memories of worshiping with them at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
We are sorry for your loss but how blessed you are to have her for your mom. Her family serves the Lord and that is the most valuable thing we can say about our lives.
With deepest sympathy and love, Bob, Betty Haimbaugh

Jean did not know your mom but wanted you to know you have my love and sympathy. Faye boukedes

Offering our deepest sympathies during this time.

Jean and Elaine, I often remember moments from "Growing Up with the Smith's." Rick and I still laugh about things that happened. I can still see your mother sitting at the kitchen table, at your house on Reidville Rd, drinking a cup of coffee that was more milk than coffee. First color TV! We watched "Bonanza" after church on a Sunday night. I fell asleep on a brown sofa in your den many Sunday nights. I remember picking green beans in a big garden behind your house...against my will, I might...

Mrs Smith was my GA leader at Oak Grove Baptist Church. She had a positive impact on my life while I was growing up.
