Helen was a dearly loved friend, mentor, and role model for me and many women and children of every age at Travis Avenue Baptist Church. She was a nurturer and encourager. We were WMU sisters, and PraiSingers together. She sang a beautiful solo in PraiSingers concerts entitled, The Longer I Serve Him The Sweeter He Grows. I had the privilege of working with Mrs. Yeatts on numerous church musical and social events, and she was always encouraging, complimentary, and grateful for everyone's work. She was very creative and provided her friends with much laughter and fun.
