Not sure what to say?

To all my Richmond Ski Club friends,

In typical Maynard Dalton style, he departed this world on Valentine's Day, but left us with a lifetime of stories to tell, memories to cherish, and will always live on in each of us, who were lucky enough to have known him.

I have spent several days uploading and compiling my favorite pictures that hopefully, capture some of the fun moments that we all shared with my life-long friend -- Maynard Dalton. I want to share them with...

May the peace of God be with you at this time and the days to come. May the fond memories forever live in our heart and bring a sense of joy in the time of need. - Class of '93

I taught with Maynard for 8 years and ate lunch with him everyday. I will never forget is hearty laugh which he did every single day. He was such a fun person to be around. I am sorry for the families loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Mr. Dalton. I remember having him as one of my teachers many many years ago and was sorry to learn of his passing.

Maynard Dalton was one of the first people I met when I was a new guidance counselor at Hermitage High School. He was a teacher and friend, and my respect for him grew each year I knew him. He was a survivor, an amazing father, a special friend and a dedicated teacher. While he was known for his quirkiness, which we all loved, he was also a humble man with a big heart. My love goes to his children during these sad days, and my prayers go up to Maynard who made my life richer. Marla Coleman

You will be dearly missed! I am remembering all of our Homecoming activities and dances. You were a true spirit and great to be around. It was so nice in my adulthood to run into you at Strawberry Hill and know we had the same friends. You will be missed and my sympathy to your entire family. (HHS class 85')

1964 Brookland Jr High science class what a funny guy. He was always cuting up, my mother worked in the lunch room at hermitage new school and Maynard was always making the staff happy. I saw him many times when I lived up there and he always remembered that class of 68, I am happy he went peacefully, I will never forget him

Oh my gosh! I just inquired with my mother the other day as to how Mr. Dalton was doing, and now to see this in the paper....unreal. What an awesome guy. My favorite science teacher of all time! His style was so interesting and thought-provoking. My strongest memory from class...the discussion of Darwin's Theory of Evolution. What a debate! He was funny, classy and what a dancer. He never let his pride get in the way of having a great time or stepping out of his comfort zone to make us...
