Dear Natalie,
Our prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your wonderful guy. We are grateful you were able to enjoy such a long and full life together.

I first met Henry in 1978 when I was applying to the new University of Hawaii School of Architecture, and I'm so grateful to him for accepting me into the program. He was so kind and encouraging to all of us students, and he made a huge difference in so many lives, especially mine. We're thankful to him and will miss him.

Dear Natalie, I would have liked being there, next to you and with all the people who loved Hank, for the funeral mass in his honor.
As I told you in the phone, Hank will be always in my memory as the elegant gentleman, such a bright and marvellous tutor that had guided me in the area of architectural design for earthquakes, and at the same time generous and kind.
