I'm so sorry for your loss , we lost a one of a kind angel that touched so many people.rest in peace jughead, love Jeff and marsha....7

Sonny was always glad to see our family from Indiana when we would come for the Gough reunion. I would catch up what had been happening during the past year with Sonny and Paul Gough. They were always doing some project and it was always funny listening to all the things they would overcome to complete the project. Dianne and I always enjoyed visiting with Sonny, Betty and Keith. Good people and anyone who knew them were truly blessed. They will be missed by our family.

Sonny was cheerful and helpful anytime we had the pleasure to meet. Our family have fond memories of Keith, Betty and Sonny each time we had a visit to North Carolina. Sonny served the Lord and it was reflected in his service to others. Well done Sonny.

I have so many fond memories of growing up across the street from Sonny. I remember Sonny joining our family along with the Wests...more neighbors going to Daytona Beach. So sorry for the family.

Diane snow, friends & family, will keep you all in prayer. We will sure miss you.

I have known Sonny and his family for many years, going back to our youth in the Easton Community in Winston Salem. Though I haven't had contact with Sonny for many years, he and his family will always be near to my heart..RIP my friend....

An era is ending with Keith, Betty and now Sonny gone on to THE LORD!
Good people, good soldiers of the faith so surely their reward is now great.
Weep now only for us that remain in the struggle of life.

Sonny was a special man and a dear friend. His life is a testimony to the wonderful Christian man he was. The faith and optomism he showed during his illness was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. We have truly been blessed to have him in our lives. Prayers for his family and friends who took such good care of him.
