Henry was my employer from 1963 till he sold Oregon Metal Slitters. It was a honor to work for a wonderfull and sopportive man. his passing is a great loss to those of us who had the privilege to count him as a friend, and to those in the portland community. my sincere condolences to the Oseran family Fred Schmaling

You might remember me as a classmate at Wilson, especially in Frank Murray's class.
I was sorry to hear of the loss of your father, and read his obit with interest. My dad also served in WWII (in the navy, at New Guinea), and like your father, returned to work in the steel market (with the Zidells).
