Not sure what to say?

Mary Jane,

We were so sorry to hear about Henry. We're here in Newport News visiting Barbara Murphy and Nancye Wilson and they told us. We both have fond memories of our cruise together and of the delicious dinner that Henry prepared for us that time in Rescue.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Love, Mary Kathryn and Philip Duffer - Richmond

Dearest Mary Jane & Family,
I am unable to describe in words how we felt when we learned that "Little Henry" had fallen ill and then had passed so suddenly. When God comes for you, he indeed says that you will not know the time, place or the reason for which he hath come for you but yet that person in which he has come for will so gladly take his hand and leave this life to go to where he's always imagined and to accompany his Loved ones that he has also had to grieve in the past. I...

Mary Jane, our love and prayers are with you, Kenneth and Clayton. May God manifest His presence and strength to each of you in a mighty way. Rick had an ability to make a person feel good about themselves, and he was one of the most thoughtful people I have ever known. We still cling to and cherish the memory of a special Christmas Eve about 40 years ago, when Santa Claus came to our door to visit our youngest daughter, who is deaf. Sharon and the rest of us still talk about that act of love...

DEAR MARY JANE AND FAMILY OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. HENRY WILL BE MISSED BY ALL. WE MET THROUGH CHURCH, RURITIANS, OYSTER ROAST, LOTS OF MEMORIES. WE ONLY NEW HENRY FOR 3 YRS AS WE MOVED TO FLORIDA. GOD BLESS

Our prayers and thoughts are with you Aunt Mary Jane, Clay, Kenneth and your families. We will miss uncle shotgun. He was truly one of a kind, a man who loved life, to laugh and most of all his family. I will never forget that great sense of humor and the joy he had just telling a story.
He will be missed but certainly never forgotten. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives.

Mary Jane and Family,
May the LORD hold you in his arms during these difficult days. Rick was a true friend to many and will be missed by us all. When problems developed while building Carrollton Nike Park, Rick always came up with the right solution.

We will never forget Uncle Shotgun, and his generousity towards us when we went to Virginia. When we heard the sad news, the first thing we thought of is not that he died, but that he finally "retired."

Henry, Mary Jane, and his Cadillac were regulars at our local car shows and cruise ins. Always quick with a bright smile and helping hand ... he will be missed.

Ken, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
